"Basic Drawing Lessons"
All Levels

When I went to Columbus College of Art and Design, my drawing teacher told us to draw. We drew all day, then she told us we were doing it all wrong.

She never did tell us the right way to draw, and she never showed us.

I'll be showing my students the science behind drawing. I'll break it down to exactly what happens when pencil meets paper, and I'll send them home knowing not how to 'draw', but how to 'learn to draw'. I'll teach them simple techniques they can do at home that will improve their eye-hand coordination as well as how to 'see' what they want to draw and draw it.

I'll have guide you as you practice a few techniques, but mostly I'll be talking and explaining how to see, and how to create a 3 dimensional world on a 2 dimensional surface.

You only need to understand what you're doing -- the rest is practice.

You only need this one lesson. Your skills will develop from there.

These will be 2-hour lessons. $45/lesson. You don't need to bring any materials
